Summary

  • Removes Vite, Vitest, PostCSS, and autoprefixer from the dependency tree entirely
  • Adds build.ts (production builds via Bun.build()) and dev.ts (dev server with WebSocket live-reload on port 5173)
  • CSS processing moves from PostCSS pipeline to standalone Tailwind CLI (@tailwindcss/cli)
  • Tests migrate from Vitest to bun test (134 tests, all passing)
  • Worker instantiation migrates from Vite's new URL() + import.meta.url pattern to direct paths (/workers/*.worker.js)
  • Updates all wiki docs, README, Makefile, and Seria Agents Hub to reflect the new tooling

Aligns Seria with the two-layer stack philosophy where Bun is the JS runtime and bundler across all projects.

Test plan

  • bun test — 134 tests pass
  • tsc --noEmit — clean type check
  • bun ./build.ts — production build produces correct dist/ output (main.js, styles.css, workers/, fonts/)
  • make test — frontend + Rust tests pass
  • make dev — verify Tauri dev window opens and live-reload works on source changes
  • Manual smoke test — open a CSV/TSV, verify Screenplay and Corkboard views render (workers load correctly)
