A fleet-wide state reset fired all nine containers' logins at once, and the restart: unless-stopped loop kept hammering — enough to trip Obsidian's per-account rate limiter on 2026-10-16 (the account spent the period in "Please wait a moment before trying again").

  • The pre-login probe now retries with 15/30 s sleeps instead of three fast 5 s pokes.
  • Login is staggered (PID-jitter, up to 45 s) and retried up to five times with backoff from 30 s to a 300 s cap.
  • A pass is verified to hold before setup proceeds; the 2FA interactive hint prints only after the retries are exhausted.
